A good starting point is the “Golden Ratio”: 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 ounces of water. Feel free to adjust, though.
Our beans are versatile and this is more of a personal preferene! Our Medium Roasts shine in a Pour Over or Drip Coffee maker. Our Dark Roasts and Espresso blends are perfect for an Espresso machine, Moka Pot, or French Press.
Our bags are heat-sealed to lock in freshness, and unopened they can stay good for about 6–12 months when stored properly. That said, using fresh-roasted beans within the first few weeks after roasting delivers especially vibrant aroma and flavor, so brewing earlier often makes your cup taste even more amazing.
Air, moisture, heat, and light are the enemies of fresh coffee. We recommend storing your beans in an opaque, airtight container in a cool, dark place (like a pantry cabinet). Avoid the fridge or freezer as they can introduce moisture.
Since coffee is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns on opened bags. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase or if there was an error with your order, please contact us so we can make it right.
Yes, our pure coffee beans are naturally gluten-free and vegan, and our flavored coffees use high-quality extracts, which are free of common allergens like dairy and nuts.
If you like bright and smooth flavors, try our Medium Roasts. For a bold, intense cup, go with our Dark Roasts or Espresso. If you enjoy something sweet and aromatic, explore our Flavored Coffee collection.
Our flavored coffees are crafted using high-quality extracts to add subtle notes—like honey or vanilla—without overpowering the natural taste of the high-quality beans we start with.
We offer both! You can select whole beans if you prefer to grind at home for maximum freshness, or choose ground coffee for convenience.
We offer a wide variety to suit every palate, including single-origin roasts (like our popular Brazil Medium Roast), custom blends, flavored coffees (such as Honeyed Hideaway), and rich espresso roasts. Don’t see one you’d like? Let us know and we’ll consider making a new blend or flavor!
Our coffee is sourced using direct trade relationships with farmers, which means beans are bought directly from the producers. Many of our blends are organic, though not all, so check the specific product page for certification details. We currently have two flavored coffees that have artificial ingredients, but will soon offer naturally flavored coffees.
We are committed to transparency. We donate 20% of our quarterly profits to the winning organization. We also share the results with our community so you can see the direct impact of your purchase.
Absolutely! We love hearing from our community. If you don’t see your favorite environmental organization on our ballot, please contact us. We research every suggestion for potential inclusion in future voting rounds.
After you make a purchase, you will receive an email with a link to vote for one of our featured causes. You can choose from initiatives like conservation, ocean cleanup, and forest preservation. At the end of each quarter, we tally the votes and donate the funds accordingly.
We believe coffee should do good. A portion of every sale goes toward environmental conservation efforts. Unlike other brands that just pick a charity for you, we let you decide where the money goes.
